Avilon Zoo is one of the best places to visit if you want an educational trip to the zoo without the boring caged animals. Here you can interact with them, have pictures taken with eagles and owls on your shoulders, and watch the birds of prey be trained by skilled men.
There are lots of animals to view in this large 7-hectare land of trees, paths, and natural-looking habitats, where monkeys swing from tree to tree in their massive habitat enclosed by a small river where you can safely watch them from afar.
The bear was giving birth at the time I got there, and the birds are communicating well with each other, with their flashing colors and exotic breeds. The sonkeys and horses are extremely friendly and they would actually let you touch them.
The reptile house is of extremely cool habitats of snakes and other reptiles, and the yellow albino snake is a really cool thing when it's wrapped aroind you during picture taking! It's skin is so cool and dry, not slimy like in the movies. The bird houses are large and many animals roam free.
The iguana habitat is also huge and nice! There are other animals there, so be sure to see them all! Their dining places are cool and relaxing as well.
