I was looking for an oil-free sunscreen and I saw this on Avon's website. It comes in a blue bottle and goes on blue then changes to clear, which is great for kids to ensure you don't miss a spot. It has a fruity scent that's mixed with a slightly medicinal or chemical scent, but it soaked into my skin and didn't leave me too greasy, which I liked.
I used this for the first time when I was weed eating and mowing about two months ago. I didn't get a sunburn, but I was constantly swatting a cloud of bugs away from me. I was surprised to say the least, as I've heard almost exclusively good things about Avon's Skin So Soft line as far as keeping the bugs off.
The website says it's DEET-free, which may have been why it didn't work very well for me. I also realize that this is marketed towards kids, and no one wants to put harsh chemicals on children, so I can see how it might not keep all the bugs away. I've never been bitten by a mosquito while I've been wearing it, and Avon's website says it's effective at preventing mosquito and tick-borne diseases like Lyme Disease and West Nile Virus.
Overall, this makes a good sunscreen. It may keep some bugs off, but I live in the south and it didn't take care of all of them for me.
