I had been eyeing a Too Faced product that would transform powder eyeshadows into liquid liner but that Too Faced product costs $17.50, so I was pretty happy when my friend got a buy one get one of this similar Avon product for less. The premise is you take the applicator brush, which is shaped like a liquid liner applicator, dip it into this liquid and then dip it into the loose or pan eyeshadow to make a liquid liner out of any eyeshadow. It seems a great idea with all the pretty eyeshadow shades out there.
Maybe I am doing it wrong, but I followed the directions, but it just doesn't seem to work. There is enough moisture to make it stick to the brush, but it seems to apply like powder eyeshadow, and it wore off like eyeshadow. I would recommend investing in a good angled thin eye makeup brush and just wetting that down with water and applying your powder with a tapered brush instead of this product. I really wished this worked to make some pretty custom colors with my eyeshadow palettes, maybe someone else knows a trick I am missing or that is not listed in the directions. It seems that Avon has to make something that it mixes the liquid and the shadow together better to make a true pigmented liquid liner.
