This was the first book I read by Candy Calvert in her Darcy Cavanaugh Mystery series.
Darcy is an ER nurse, and she finds herself on a wedding cruise as one of the bridesmaids. The cruise is loaded with friends of the groom, firefighters who have not outgrown the habit of playing raucous and bawdy practical jokes on one another. Darcy is happy to get away from her hectic life for a while, but things turn out to be pretty hectic on this cruise. It doesn't help matters that Darcy's ex-boyfriend also turns up, and Darcy's current boyfriend, waiting for her when the cruise is over, is sporting a suspicious-looking box in his pocket. Darcy suspects it may be a ring, and she doesn't know if she is ready for marriage yet. When things keep happening to eliminate members of the wedding party, Darcy realizes that this cruise isn't going to be the easy getaway that she was counting on.
Aye Do or Die was entertaining, full of bawdy pranks by the gang of firefighters with some mystery thrown in for good measure. It wasn't one of my favorites, though, and there are other mysteries that I prefer over this. But if you are looking for a raucous good time, you would probably enjoy this book.
