This is the time of year that I really have to scramble to find any long sleeve gowns. You're probably wondering why I want them, since Spring is on the way soon. Well, we keep our heat and our air conditioning very low at night. We just prefer a cool house. And over the years, my body has gotten used to long sleeves, and if I where a short sleeved gown to bed, I almost freeze to death.
Now the problem is that I live in Florida, and in Florida, anything past February is considered Summer. Well, that's almost the truth. After February, it will be extremely difficult to find anything that remotely has to do with Winter clothing. That's just the way it is here in Florida. So, I'm on the prowl for long sleeve nightgowns everywhere I go lately, since I wear them year round.
One that I discovered was at Bealls Outlet. It's another beautiful Allyson Whitmore gown, which is one of my favorite brands. It's a baby blue long floor length gown, with a very light white floral pattern in the background. It's not too busy, like so many ladies' pajamas are. It has a beautiful satin ribbon and flower lace trim around the neckline and the single pocket on the front. It has a 6 button front closure, and a white satin bow with a rose in the middle, at the center of the neck. The material is my favorite--60% cotton and 40% polyester. It's machine washable, and can be tumbled dry on a low setting. It retails for $26.00, and I got it at the outlet price of $12.99, so I'm very pleased with the cost. I know that I will enjoy wearing this gown, no matter the season!
