Band! Bang! Tap! Tap! Ding! Ding! These sounds carry though our house when our little grandson is around. They fill the air and our heads with sounds of his baby rhythms.
Babies love things that make noise. It seems the louder they are; the more they like it. Put a bunch of toys in front of any baby, and they will usually choose those which are nosy. The first efforts which show the baby’s creativity is those which are expressed through the noise makers. Although, it may give those around them a headache, they are expressing a rhythm of their own while banging around with their toys.
We bought Jordan the Little Tikes, Baby Tap-a-Tone Piano. It was not an expensive toy, but it certainly is one he enjoys. He can bang, tap, and ding all day long, and he usually does. It is one of his favorite toys.
The top of it is like a xylophone with a lower taping sound which has a slight ding to it. The piano keys make a much louder dinging sound and he just loves it.
It has bright colors and is made of solid plastic except the xylophone keys at the top which are painted metal.
There is no assembly needed as it is all one piece.
This is great toy for babies to begin their exploration of sound and rhythm. I would recommend this to parents who wants to add a little rhythm and music to their baby’s play time.
