I would have to say that this set of headphones is one of the greatest bang for the buck headsets you'll find. To start with the headphones come with 2 1/8 plugs, one for the mic and for cups, but it also includes a usb adapter for the ultimate plug and play setup. The main reason for my orignal purchase was the fact that I needed headphones that i could use all day long that wouldn't wear out. Because of the good things i heard about Plantronics from different podcasters, Leo Laporte is a big fan, I decided to take the jump and give these a try. I started with rather low expectations figuring that for 30 dollars you couldn't get that great of headphones. I was pleasently surprised to find that they sounded great for listening to music, listening to spoken word, and gaming. For the first few months they where very comfortable and I never really realized i was wearing them, but after about 7-8 months the ear pads have started to become hard, they are still soft, but just not as soft as they used to be. the "fo" leather seems to have lost its soft touch.

Overall the sound quality is beyound what I expected and the mic quality is a major upgrade from the headphones that where sent to me by my school. Come to find out many podcasters used plantronics headphones to record their shows because of the good quality fromt he headsets. I'm very happy with my set. I didn't give 5 out of 5s because they could be better, but for the price they are very good.
