I had heard about Crocs for months now, but until recently I had not been moved to jump on the Crocs wagon.

While browsing shoebuy.com, as I had a $10 off coupon, looking at sneakers I decided to check out the sandals. I spotted the crocs, which sell for $29.95... I checked the reviews on the site, confirmed that the site had free shipping and then checked the returns policy. The returns policy allows for easy returns, that they pay to ship back to them if there is a problem, including fit. What can I say, I went for it!

I decided to go with the Cayman style, which is a unisex style. I thought about the beach style, which is said to be wider, but my size was not in stock. I also went with a very conservative color, black.

My order only took 2 days to arrive. When I picked up the box, I thought it was empty! I shook it and there was definitely something in there but it had to be too light for a pair of sandals. When I opened the box the sandals were in there... surprise!

The lightness of the sandals is due to thier croslite PCCR material. This material is also made to grip the walking surface so as the wearer does not slip on a wet walkway. They are also anti-microbial and odor resistant. How cool is that?! If that was not enough, this material actually molds to the wearers feet for an extra comfy fit!

I do want to note that there have been warnings about children wearing Crocs on escalators. Children who do not pick up thier feet quickly enough off of the top step could have thier Croc, or worse, pulled into the teeth of the escalator due to the Croc grip. To be safe, where different shoes at the mall or take the stairs or elevator instead.

What I noticed the first time that I wore them is that they are airy, squishy, light and springy. The texture of the shoe just makes them so unbelievably comfortable. I love them!

The Crocs are not the greatest looking things around, however, since I do like them so much I may go for a dressed up pair with the Mickey head holes - thier Disney style - or with thier Red Sox style, or maybe one of each!

While the people at Crocs say that they run large, I have wide feet so I did order one size up for the width. I am wanting to try on the beach style to see if I can wear my size as they are supposed to be wider. From what I understand both the Disney and Red Sox designs are sold in the beach model.

Overall I really like the Crocs and suggest that you try them!
