A few months ago, my husband and I signed up for BB&T Online Banking, so we could keep better track of our finances. At first, it was rather difficult to deal with, as transactions could take up to 2-3 days to show up, and deposits took 1-2 days to show as well.
Recently, though, there was a major revamping, and the ease of use has improved by leaps and bounds. Now, transactions are displayed within 24 hours, and are put in a special "Pending Transations" window, with a note about what the transation was for, and how much. It's also super easy to transfer money between accounts....three or four clicks and you're done!
Customer service has also been very quick and friendly. When we found an odd transaction that we did not recognize, customer service quickly identified where it was from and what it consisted of. Turns out, a restaurant charged us a foreign ATM fee that we were unaware of!
I personally doubt I will ever switch banking services ever again, and it's all because of the ease of their online banking. I have yet to try their online bill paying service, but I look forward to trying it out soon.
