The Grand Theft Auto series has always been known for it's amazing open ended sandbox style gameplay, fantastic music, and large amounts of violence. And the last major Grand Theft Auto release on consoles also happens to be the best GTA yet. With improved graphics, a better aiming system and some of the best music on a console release so far.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas takes place in the early 90's; a decade filled with events worth parodying. The music, fashion, and attitude of the decade is captured with amazing attention to detail. And the gameplay more than keeps up with the substance. An improved aiming system, more vehicles, and better weapons make for the most engrossing GTA yet.
The plot is rife with the series in-jokes and parodies of 90's events. It's not exactly masterpiece theater but it does the job of stringing along the player until the game's dramatic conclusion. And what a conclusion! By the time the looong game is finished you'll have seen and done (and heard!) more than you could have ever imagined in a GTA game.
The new locales also provide a refreshing change of pace. With three different cities and a vast open countryside, the game gies more than players expected. I would definitely recommend this GTA over any of the others and with its reduced price, it has never been a better deal for your buck.
