When we went home for the holidays last 2009, my parents had re-arranged their garden. And with that, they added decors as well as a couple of garden lamps.
They wanted something that was decorative but at the same time will serve the purpose of lighting the yard at night to ward off intruders. And they found what they were looking for from Akari Lighting. Each lamp costs $15 each but it was worth it. At night, the garden is flooded with white light. And considering that my parents have a wide area, only two lamps was enough to light the entire area.
But during the day, the lamps are decorative enough so as not to disrupt the arrangements. The lamps are in black frame with white translucent covers. They look very oriental.
With Akari Lighting, their lamps are designed to give maximum lighting with the least energy consumption. And they are also known for their quality, so I believe my parents got a real good deal for their money.
I love the effect of these lamps on my parents' garden, both during the day and at night. They used to have bulbs installed in different areas around the perimeter of the property. But with their new Akari garden lamps, that was all they needed.
