I saw this lamp at a friend of mine's and I desired it, too.
It is a side table lamp that is shaped like column, with a wooden base, and laminated sea shells for the body. There is a great contrast between the dark color of the base and the whiteness of the shells. I loved it! They are perfect for my parents' home for dramatic lighting. I like this lamp because it is unique. And since it is made of sea shells, no two items are exactly alike.
It is of good quality, the craftsmanship is superb. However, like most lighting like these, it is not cost-efficient. It uses a light bulb. But it is just very romantic. It is perfect for those times that need dim lighting while let us say, watching TV or just snuggling with your loved one.
Since it is made by Tumandok, which is an eco-enterprise, the item is a bit pricey. Each lamp costs more than $20. So in the end, I did not end up buying it. It is not really because I don't want it, but it is just not within my budget. Maybe someday I can afford it.
Actually, there are other shapes and sizes available. But I just love this one.
Anyway, I am attaching a photo and tell me if it is not worth having.
