I have been unfortunately blessed with unruly, thick eyebrows. They have been the bane of my existence ever since I hit puberty. Tweezing them takes way too long, but once I discovered waxing, I thought, Great! Except for the pain, because let's face it, no matter what any product says, if you're ripping out hair by the roots, it's going to hurt.
However, this Sally Hansen wax is one of the better ones I've used, mainly due to two things- 1) Since I control how hot it gets (you choose how long to microwave it), I know I'm not going to burn myself, especially since the wax paddle has a heat indicator on it, which is wonderful. 2) It comes with a lotion that has 5% benzocaine in it, and once I put that on, the pain is gone! I also have much less trouble with redness using this prduct, which is nice, since I really hate going out with those tell-tale "hey I just ripped out my eyebrows" red marks on my face.
The cost-effectiveness is great too- for 6.99 I have gotten over a year's worth of waxing out of this one jar!
My only complaints are that it can be a bit messy if you are new to waxing, and it does have trouble removing those stubborn chin hairs- I have to stick to tweezing those. But as often as I have to wax, this stuff is definitely my savior!
