As a new mommy nursing, I was a little modest and shy when anyone else was around and it was feeding time. One of my friends showed me a gift she received which was called a Hooter Hider. Not only was the name funny, but it was actually cute! I immediately began the search to find one for myself.
For some reason, they dropped the name Hooter Hider and just started putting Bebe Au Lait on the tags instead. I was not impressed with the selection of nursing shawls I found in the store. They were always big, black, and had nothing special to them. I would use a receiving blanket in a pinch, but loved some of the details on the Bebe Au Lait nursing covers. They were attractive! They came in bright colors and fun designs. They are easy to put on and take off. You simply tie it like an apron around your neck. There is boning in front which holds the cover out a little, but only to your eyesight. This means you can still make eye contact and bond with your baby in privacy while feeding. It was enough to get me to pay the $35 price tag and well worth it!
I recommend this nursing cover to any nursing mommy concerned about covering up but looking for something stylish to do the trick.
