I have never thought of Mary Kay as a perfume distributor…until I tried the Belara Eau de Parfume they have. Now…I’m hooked! I absolutely LOVE this fragrance!

Cotton musk, sandalwood and Southern Indian tuberose balance top notes of San Joaquin fig, Wild bilberry and opal lotus flower.

Mary Kay says that this is a” perfectly balanced, sheer fragrance that fits the perfectly balanced woman”. Well I don’t know if I fit all that! But I sure do like it!

It’s hard for me to describe the actual fragrance so let me say this…I can’t smell the sandalwood at all. I am one of those people that can’t really wear sandalwood (it makes me stink) and I have no idea what the rest of the scents are supposed to smell like ( lol) all I know is that There’s a light “sweetness” and I have to describe it also as a clean fragrance. Not to flowery, NO one scent (that I can identify anyways) stands out above the rest. I pretty much wear it when ever we go out. I get compliments and asked “what are you wearing?” (Yes they are asking in a good way) all the time. People are pretty shocked that it’s Mary Kay. One of the things I like about this Belara is that it not a fragrance that everyone and their nighbor is wearing!

It is NOT an overpowering STRONG scent at all (unless you saturate yourself!) 2 sprays covers you for the entire day /night.

I can’t say how much I love this Belara…if I could choose one fragrance to wear forever this would be it!

You can find this on the Mary Kay website, from your Mary Kay Rep, and eBay is another great place to check. I have the 1.7 ounce bottle; it is sold for $34.00 on the Mary Kay Website.

Note: The picture I included in this review a bit dark...Mary kay makes another Belara that they call Bella Belara...I know nothing about that one! This review is for the original straight up Belara..blu and purple bottle.
