The Bell Ghisallo is a stylish bicycle racing helmet that does what it is meant to do: protect the brain and provide air ventalation to reduce head heat in hot environments. This is a very light-weight helmet and once it is on your head it barely feels like it is there.
The small padding on the inside of the helmet works efficiently but sometimes it feels like the helmet is putting too much pressure on the forehead; luckily there is a tightness adjusting wheel on the back of the helmet that can control how much pressure the helmet grips the head with.
The Ghisallo looks fancy and stylish for a bicycle helmet; compared to other helmets I prefer the look of the more expensive racing helmets. The vent holes are large enough to let enough air through the helmet to cool the head, but during the colder weather it is necessary to put a cover on the helmet or wear a nice skull cap underneath.
I recommend this helmet to any cyclists looking for a lighter weight racing helmet. Cyclists with less of a budget may want to invest in one of Bell's $50 helmets.
