This is a great addition to my wardrobe. I consider this to be a good fall coat. It's not ideal for New England winters especially up here in the mountains. Although it is cozy, it just wouldn't cut it against the extreme wind chill, the hail, the snow and what have you. Plus, I am BIG into layering. I've found that the jacket fits me when I wear a long-sleeved tee underneath, but if I wore my big, bulky hoodies, no way, I don't think it would fit me. It fits really well in the waist and hips, but it fits a bit too snugly around the chest.
On Chickdowntown'swebsite they disclose that the jacket runs a little small, so I figured that could be a possibility. Usually I wear a small in tops, but it does depend on the brand and how everything is cut. At the time, Chickdowntown was running a contest on their Twitter giving away a jacket everyday by asking interesting questions, sometimes they were Twilight related and sometimes they weren't. I won this because on one of the days my answer was chosen! When my answer was picked, only size small and extra small were available. I'm really glad I went with the small instead of the extra small. It retails on Chickdowntown's website for $63.99.
This is the brand and style of jacket that the character, Bella, wore in the movie Twilight, and I think that's really cool. Also, I love the color. I love all the pockets and the cloth hood. The outer portion is cotton and the inner part is polyester. The shell feels like broken in jeans, very soft. I love the easy, casual style of it. I think it will be a favorite of mine for a long time.
