This week it's been cold in Michigan, we had tons of rain, high winds, sleet, and then snow in some areas. Before this we had a warming spell and my husband and his golfing buddies were able to make it out to the golf course two weeks in a row.
New shorts are always in order to start the season off. I like to shop at T.J. Maxx and my husband has discovered that he could find some nice men's clothing there at very reasonable prices. One of these finds was this pair of Ben Hogan Coolmax pleated shorts.
My husband really likes anything Coolmax or Dri-Fit as he sweats easily and finds this type of material dries quickly and keeps him much cooler. These shorts are very lightweight, tan in color and if you look closely at the picture with the Ben Hogan tag you will see there is a nice thin stripe design down the pants. They are 75% cotton and 25% Coolmax.
There are two small pleats in the front of the shorts, two side pockets, two buttoned back pockets and the Ben Hogan logo on the inside of the waistband. The length come to just above my husband's knees. I think these shorts are very dressy looking, especially with the stripe design. So far have washed up really well in cold water and dried on low.
I'm not sure if these shorts will help my husband's golf game, but at least he is comfortable and dry!
