This product is made for dark circles around the eye. I was determined to find a good undereye concealer, and in the process, I have tried literally every concealer available at sephora.com, the drugstore, and several other brands, all with varying degrees of success. So when I saw the pictures on the benefit website, I was pretty excited. But when i saw how yellow this was in the container, I did not have much hope of it working for me, it seemed wrong for my skin. But it is a very transculent yellow and does not look at all yellow when applied, it just negates a dark shadow. My eyes look especially dark after I have been sick or have had a headache, and this really brightens up the whole eye area. I apply it with my ring finger and dab it. It is important to use a moisturizer first, I recommend Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisture Lotion since it soaks right in around the eye. I would not recommend this as your only or primary concealer since it is more of a brightener and works to cancel out the dark tones of your circle, but not to conceal it or hide that you have a circle at all. It is probably best applied over or under a foundation so that you already have some coverage. I do find this especially good in office lighting to negate the harsh grayish blue tone of the overhead lights and monitors which can make you look exhausted and older than you are. It might not be the best for outdoor lighting since the yellow shows the most in natural light. i find this product superior to the Physician's Formula yellow based concealer since the Benefit Lemon-Aid is more sheer, has more staying power, and looks more like actual skin to me. I would recommend this product.
