Benefit's You Rebel Tinted moisturizer is a must have for any time of the year. 'You Rebel' comes in two shades, 'You Rebel Light' and the original 'You Rebel'. I recommend purchasing the original as opposed to You Rebel Light, unless you have very, very fair skin. The original gives a great color to any skin tones, and because it is a tinted moisturizer, it blends into most skin tones well without making you look like you're wearing the wrong shade.
The formula is very creamy and light, and blends well into the skin. For me it seems to leave a slight sheen on my face after using it, which may be because of how much I use. I would say if you are having the same problem, use a setting powder after applying it. Otherwise, I have no problems with the product's consistency, or application.
I also like that it gives decent coverage for a tinted moisturizer. Many tinted moisturizers don't have much coverage and don't do well covering up blemishes. You rebel gives a light to medium coverage which is great for anyone who wants a tinted moisturizer with a foundation like coverage.
You Rebel is a bit pricey for a tinted moisturizer. Next to drugstore brand tinted moisturizers it may seem over priced, but you get more wear time out of it. For me it lasts the entire day, and even through the night if I forget to take it off. It is $30 and you can buy it at Sephora, Ulta, or www.benefitcosmetics.com.
The packaging is a toothpaste like tube, but much wider and shorter. I don't have any issues getting the product out. After I finish the product, I cut open the tube and there is barely any product left, which is a plus for me. I hate having packaging that makes you think you've used up the product, but if you were to cut it open there is still a ton left. It's a plus for me that you can get every last drop out!
Overall, Benefit's You Rebel tinted moisturizer is one of my favorite tinted moisturizers. It works great with my skin, doesn't cause breakouts, and it wont completely break the bank. I've recently bought my second tube after finally using up my first one after about 4-5 months. A little bit of this product goes a long way, and it lasts! I recommend trying out this product for anyone who's looking for a good coverage tinted moisturizer!
