I purchased these tires over a year ago because my original tires would not go anywhere in the snow. These tires made my Ford Focus feel like it has four wheel drive. They were the cheapest tires they had but they look the most aggressive. I planned to switch back to the original tires for summer but Discount wouldn't put them back on because they were to worn. I have had these tires on my car for almost 30, 000 miles now and the tread is just over half gone. I am a hunter and fisher and these tires have gotten my Focus through some pretty nasty mud, sand, snow and water. They are surprisingly great in the summer dry asphalt and have a great ride quality. These tires are better than my original Pirelli p6 in every aspect. I have recommended these to everyone I know and I even noticed that consumerreport rated these as the number 2 best snow tire right behind the Bridgestone Blizzaks which are a $150 tire which is twice as much as I paid for my General Altimax Artics. If you are looking for a tire that is excellent in the winter, great in the summer, perfect for off-road, has a good ride quality and has the best price this is the tire you should get! p.s. I have not been paid by General for this review :) I am just that pleased with my purchase.
