I didn't care for this movie very much, but part of the reason may be because I don't like Will Ferrell that much. Nicole Kidman was pretty good as Isabel, who is chosen to portray Samantha the witch in a remake of the TV series, but I thought that Will Ferrell was not a believable Darrin.
The movie stars Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell as actors who are recreating the roles of Samantha and Darrin for a remake of the popular television series. Isabel is a relative unknown, and Jack (Will Ferrell) is excited about her starring with him because he feels her anonymity will help to boost him in the ratings of the show. Little does he know that Isabel is so perfect for the part of Samantha because she really is a witch, and she has some plans for him when she realizes what he is scheming to do.
The movie is OK, and I did like Nicole Kidman, but I just couldn't warm up to Will Ferrell in this movie at all.
The movie is 102 minutes long and rated PG-13, with a warning to parents because of language, sex, drug references and some nudity in the movie. Special features include deleted scenes, a commentary by the director, behind-the-scenes featurettes and more.
This movie was a disappointment to me. If I watch it again, it'll only be because I like Nicole Kidman. The movie itself was weak, but then, that's just my personal opinion.
