This is not the usual electrical coffee machines. My manual espresso coffee machines are few of the most in-demand kitchen gadgets in my household. My husband is Italian who loves a short-black of Italian espresso at breakfast, in the afternoon and after dinner. It is also the most offered drink in my household whenever a visitor walks in.
Bialetti is the pioneer in coffee machines. It is an Italian brand. I have seen lots of coffee models made by Bialetti and they are quite expensive. I am content though with these manual coffee machines. I already got used to them. I have first learned how to make an espresso when I came to my in-laws house and my mother-in-law taught me how to prepare the coffee. She was also the one who gave me my first ever manual coffee machine.
Bialetti's manual coffee machines' prices range from $30 to $65 depending on the size. The smallest size can make 4 short black espresso. While the biggest one can make upto 8.
What I love about my Bialetti Moka Express coffee machine is the easy cleaning. After use, all it needs is a rinse of just water. It does not need to be soaped especially the filter part because soap tends to sink in the inside of the filter. We don't want a soap-tasting coffee, do we?
One more thing, when making coffee, not only with Bialetti Moka Express, but with any other manual coffee machine, it is important to stand-by and wait for the coffee to be ready because the coffee can have the burnt taste if left unattended and left boiling. This is one disadvantage of having a manual coffee machine instead of the automatic ones.
Overall, I love my Bialetti Moka Express coffee machines. I might get a Bialetti automatic/electric coffee machine though in the future.
