Big Mamma's House stars Martin Lawrence. It is rated PG-13, and is 98 minutes long. This comedy has Martin Lawrence playing a police detective named Malcolm Turner. Malcolm is after a killer/bank robber that has just escaped from jail, so he decides to dress up as a huge woman and pretend to be the grandmother of the killers ex-girlfriend, that is suspected to be also involved in the bank robbery. After meeting the woman, he finds her very attractive and has to keep his feelings under check as he is playing Big Mamma. With this disguise he is hoping to find out where they have hidden the money. I thought it was a little far-fetched that even though the ex-girlfriend had not seen her grandmother in two years, that she wouldn't notice that Big Mamma wasn't her real grandmother, but it still is a funny movie. It's meant to be funny not live up to a believable story. At one point the real Mamma shows up and confuses the situation further. I really liked the movie and thought it was a lot of fun. Martin Lawrence is really good in this movie and his sidekick Paul Giamitti adds a lot of funny episodes to the movie also.
