I am a very big fan of the Late Late show with Craig Ferguson and because of that I really enjoyed this movie. The plot leads to an predictable and anti-climatic ending though, there are some really great jokes about Los Angels and some Cameo appearances by several Hollywood stars.
This movie is shot in the "mocumentery" format like the hit comedy series the Office. The camera man and the director play characters in this movie as a Scottish hairdresser, Crawford Mackenzie (Craig Ferguson) gets invited to "participate" in a hair styling contest in LA. Crawford interprets this that he is competing and quickly rushes to LA only to find that "participate" means "watch". He then tries to make his trip worth while by trying to find a way to compete in the contest. From there, you can guess where the plot goes.
I watched this with Netflix Instant Play and I would recommend watching it in a simmilar fashion or perhaps renting it. I don't believe it ever made it to the box office and I, personally, wouldn't buy this movie as it isn't a movie I'd want to watch over agian
Keep on watching and until next time,
