I can remember when Billy Blanks first came on the workout scene years ago with his Tae-Bo workouts. They were a hit then and they are still a hit now. Recently I picked up one of his workout DVDs to actually see what all of the hype was and to see if I would enjoy the workout. I ended up getting Tae-Bo Cardio and it was a pretty good workout, not as intense as I would like, but it definitely got my heart pumping.
Billy starts you out with a deep breathing warm up to get your heart pumping. He then starts into his sequence of moves. Now I have not done Tae-Bo before but I have done a lot of workout videos before so it didn't take too long for me to pick up the moves and start punching away. However I think if you were a true beginner to workout videos or even working out in general it might take a little bit longer to pick up on the steps Billy puts you through.
The music is a little bit repetitive at times and the moves could be a little bit more challenging but overall I feel that it gives you quite a good workout. It gets the blood pumping and the sweat flowing which are deifnitely what should happen when you workout. I might pick up another one of his videos in the future, but probably only if it's on sale.
