I'm the type of person who prefers working out at home rather than in gyms. I can wear anything I want to and I can stop the DVD whenever I feel tired and I need a break and I don't need to wear anything fancy. Plus if I make the wrong moves, I won't feel embarrassed. I used to work out only with a static machine, so Billy Blanks Taebo Series are the first DVDs I've ever tried to work out with. Hubby got me these DVDs for me to work out with.
I started with Billy Blanks' Basic Training Bootcamp. It was rather hard for me to follow at first since my stamina and balance were so lame and I didn't know the movements well. However, once I tried a few times, I remembered the movements well, my stamina and balance got better and better.
Then I started trying out his other CDs, such as The Ab Bootcamp DVD and then I moved on to Abs and Glutes DVD. Then I also tried Advanced Taebo Workout DVDs and Billy Blanks' Get Ripped and Ultimate Bootcamp DVDs.
In just six months, I felt TREMENDOUS change in my body. Mind you that I only exercised 2-3 times a week and each session only lasted for 35-50 minutes, but still the DVDs were so effective for me. My legs, hips, stomach, and arms are slimmer. Plus my energy level and mood get better and better!
I like the fact that in the series, Billy Blanks try to remind me to "listen to my own body". So if I'm thirsty or I need a break, I should do so. After all, I can always pause the DVDs and continue again after the break, right?
So for those of you who wants to try a new kind of workout routine, I HIGHLY recommend Billy Blanks' Taebo Series.
