I must admit I used to laugh when I heard of anyone doing a Billy Blanks workout. I was much younger and thinner when the Tae Bo series was released.
After many years and many pounds, I decided to give Billy's Boot Camp a try. I liked the idea of being in a team enviornment without leaving the comfort of my living room. I am also an Army veteran so the boot camp theme really appealed to me. It helps to have the extra motivationon days when you're not so enthusiastic about sweating.
The Billy's Boot Camp series consits of 3 DVD's, Billy Bands, and customized web support. The workouts target all major body areas including the dreaded mid-section!
I will warn you that the workouts are intense! You should really check with your doctor before attempting to complete these routines. Although the steps are not hard to follow, your body will have no choice but to respond to these combinations.
Billy and Shelly are the instructors on this series. You will also see a wide range of body shapes and physical ability from the rest of the workout group.
This is a great workout series to have if you're serious about toning up or getting fit. The workouts can be done with or without the Billy Bands. The Billy Bands really help tone your new muscles.
