I received this vintage Fendi handbag from a relative. It is a hand-me-down, but trust me, I ain't complain' in the least! A person can glean true gems from hand-me-downs. I can't afford to buy myself expensive bags, but that doesn't stop me from loving certain brands. Fendi is a high-end, luxury leather company, and as such, I treat this purse as a prized collectible.
I like that while the bag is black, it is jazzed up by the rainbow stitching. It could be so basic, but the rainbow makes it much more fun and different. I also like that the logo blends into the leather. So many bags these days SCREAM logos at you, but with this one, it is simply embossed in black, and a person could completely miss that it is there. It is "secretly Fendi."
There are some distinct reasons that I don't wear this bag nearly as much as other ones I have. I highly dislike spindly straps. These are about 1/2 an inch. Slender straps tend to slip off my shoulders, down to the crook of my elbow. This is a real pet peeve of mine. As a personal preference, I've always liked "bigger bags." I find this one to be on the small side, and due to its size, seems a bit child-like. That being said, I do still adore it, though I don't use it everyday.
Here are some stats of the bag: approximately 10 inches (width) by 8 inches (height). It has pretty gold-toned hardware.
