This is the second book I read by James Rollins and it was just as wonderful as the first! Actually I think I like this one better but I am biased because I have a love of all things related to the history of WWII.

This book is not set in WWII but does go into some detail about actual projects that were worked on by the German government during WWII and what might have happened if that research had continued. The science in this book is quantum mechanics and it is facinating. There is even a character that explains the basic principles in easy to understand language (yes, it was necessary for plot development) there is natural selection and creationism and of course the secret government society is in this one too. This time to keep the planet safe :)

Again I don't want to give too much away but this book blew me away. Rollins even included further reading suggestions if his book gets you interested in the history or the science. What a great guy!
