Bloodfever, the 2nd book in Karen Marie Monings "Fever" series is just as good as its predescer Darkfever. This book continues the tale of MacKayla Lane as she continues to learn about herself and adjust to her newfound powers as Sidh-seer. She is continuing to seek vengeance for her sister's murder as well as tracking the Sinsar Dubh while trying to keep herself alive.
I love the fact that this book is such a mixture of darkness, sensuality, eroticism, mystery, action and yes even some humor. The characters in this book are portrayed in such a way that they truly come alive on the page and it feels as if you are right there, walking the dark rainy streets of Ireland with Mac and Jericho.
The only critique I could find about this book as that it ends leaving you wanting more and the next book in the series has yet to be published.
