We have had Ryobi lawn tools for more than 15 years. We recently purchased a new Ryobi 17" curved shaft trimmer unit because our old Ryobi trimmer attachment and the main unit with the gas engine had seen it's better days.
Already having all of theRyobi Expand-Itattachments made this a good purchase for us. Ryobi Expand-It attachments are made to be removed so another attachment can be added without purchasing multiple yard tools. Our trimmer attachment could now be converted to our Ryobi blower attachment which I am reviewing here. We use this blower attachment for blowing leaves, cleaning debris from the edges of the driveway, our front and back decks, and the walkways.
Our Ryobi blower attachment gets used each time the lawn is mowed. The blower is equipped with a fan that generates 150MPH and 270CFM of blowing capacity. The noise level is comparable to other blowers I hear our neighbors use. The measurements of the blowing unit itself are approximately 10" in width by 9" in depth, and the weight is 5 lbs. There is also a debris scraper located in front of the unit for items that might be stuck to the areas you are blowing clean.
There are absolutely no tools required to convert from one attachment to this Ryobi blower attachment. All that needs to be done is to unscrew the knob that holds the attachment to the main engine unit, push in a spring loaded button, and off comes one attachment and it's ready for a new one.
I did not rate the vacuum attachment/leaf bag option as this does not have either; it is mainly a leaf blower.
If you are in the market for a blower unit for your yard needs, we would highly recommend this Ryobi attachment.
