Whenever I have some spare time I like to engage in one of my favorite pastimes and that's working puzzles. It doesn't matter whether its crosswords, sudoku, kakuro, logic puzzles, or any number of other kinds of puzzles. Sometimes at work I have some free time while the kids are away or I am having lunch so I keep a small book of puzzles with me. One of my favorite puzzle for many years has been what Dell Magazine use to call number places but is now known as sudoku.
While shopping I found a small book of these made by the Kappa Publishing Group called Blue Ribbon Sudoku Puzzles. There are 178 puzzles ranging from easy to hard. There are instructions and tips at the begiinning and the answers are in the back of the book.
I like this magazine. The Blue Ribbon Sudoku Puzzles magazine is small and can be carried in a purse which is very convenient. I would love to see them offer magazines that contain one kind of sudoku puzzles such as one that would include all hard puzzles because I find the easy ones to be no challenge at all.
This magazine is $2.50 in the store or 28.30 for a subscription of 12 magazines. These puzzles are also available by subscription in a bigger format.
