I love this stuff! Let me start by saying that this is the second container of this shea butter I have used. A lotion has be be really good for me to completely use it and want to go get more of the same.
My in-laws bought me this shea butter to put on my tummy now that I am pregnant. I had already bough coco butter lotion, but after I used this shea butter for a few days I never used the coco butter again. When I ran down the first container, I asked where they bought it and they said Walgreen's. But instead of having to get another container myself, she gave me a spare she had not used yet. Even so, I would have gone and bought more on my own.
I love this shea butter because it goes on very smooth and really lasts. You don't need a whole lot to cover a good sized area. I have been using it on my belly now for about 4 months and I am just starting to run out of the first container. I have been putting it on my belly once a day, but now I am using it twice a day so it won't last quite as long.
I put this shea butter on every night and in the morning I can still feel the smoothness and moisture of it. It feels very good on my skin too. Unlike other lotions, this shea butter is not runny or watery. It is more like a paste that stays where you put it. My shirt doesn't stick on my belly or get oily like with other lotions either.
The first container I used was the vanilla scented one, but this specific one in the picture is the coconut milk and lime scent. Both have a nice subtle scent that isn't overpowering, but gives a nice aroma therapy effect.
I would suggest using this shea butter not only to help prevent stretch marks on a growing pregnancy belly, but also for anyone with dry skin. It is much better than water based lotions and will make your skin feel baby smooth!
