No, this is not a kind of beauty product you slather on your skin to feel fresh and moisturized =) This is the session I tried for once with my friends at Fitness First. Like you, my reaction was "Body Jam...what?" I thought it was just simple calisthenics with few stretchings and some jumping jacks here and there. Lo and behold, when the instructor started the boom box, the music was hip-hop beat! I was supposed to follow the hip-hop step work-out! LOL! I looked funny each time I glanced at the mirror. I could follow the steps though but I wasn't cut out for a hip-hop session.
I loved the Body Jam session. I am sure it would have been effective if I had continued. It was an hour of dancing, grinding, hip-swinging, rapper-style posing work-out session. I did break a sweat by the bucket! Loved the way I had to move and bump a lot so I'd say...It's worth the try!!!
