I bought this ride on toy for my daughter who is 27 months. I remembered something like this from back when I was a kid and that I had always wanted it! She had a couple of little ride-ons that I felt she was getting too big for, and the ages on the box for this were 2-4, so I thought it would be something that could grow with her. I have to say I was a little disappointed when we took it out of the box and I saw the size. It is definitely too small for an average sized 4 year old to play on! It fits my daughter very well right now at age 2, but it is not going to be something she will use for more than a year probably. For the price, I had hoped we would be able to get more use out of it. I was also a bit disappointed with the "bouncing" feature. I thought if the child bounced it would also move forward, but the bouncing is only a stationary feature. You can either push yourself forward with your feet, or stay in one place and bounce. That said, my two year old loves this toy! She thinks it's cute and she loves to bounce! It is a bit hard for her to maneuver however, there is no steering and the handle to hold onto is just like a knob on a saddle. It makes it kind of hard for a little one to balance and push forward as well when there is only one place to hold on; it really should have more of a "handlebar" to hold onto so she could steady herself and not slide off one side when she is trying to ride. All in all, I think it is a cute, fun little toy but rather high priced for the use and play that you can get out of it.
