I decided to purchase this Rainforest Jumperoo because it has many features I thought my son would enjoy. For those who don't know what a jumperoo is it is an acitivity center that an infant can sit in and jump up and down. This particular jumperoo has the animal environment. The seat red with orange and yellow dots looks like a frog with big eyes at the top and rotates in a complete circle. There are different toys and activities all around the jumperoo. Some hang from leaves over the baby. Off of one leaf is a very bright colorful bird. On the other leaf is a blue and green polka dot frog. These leaves are flexible so when the baby grabs them he can pull them down towards himself. The jumperoo is baby activated so on the electronic toy side when the baby jumps the lights then blink and the sounds will play. On one side there is a rainbow. At the top of the rainbow there is sun inside a clear spinning ball that the baby can spin. One of my sons favorite toys is the little bug hooked to piece of plastic that he is able to bring towards him and put in his mouth. There are several other various toys around the jumperoo.
The assembly was fairly easy. It took my husband about 15 minutes. I can easily take it apart and put in the trunk of my Corolla to take to the sitters. There are 3 height adjustments with a maximum height of 32" and a maximum weight of 25lbs.
The downside to the jumperoo is if you have a small living area like myself it can take up a little too much space. Also you never know how much time your infant will spend in something like this. We have only had this jumperoo for about 3 weeks. So far my son seems to like it. However, I am not going to say that we will get our moneys worth out of it though. We got the jumperoo at a late age because we first got the exersaucer but I would recommend it to other's who are looking for an activity center for their infant.
