My husband and I were at Wal-Mart today and browsed through the Christmas section, just to see what was on sale - as everything was and is 50% off. I had first been introduced to these chocolates probably 15 years ago when my friend's dad would only request them for Christmas. Zachary Cholocates have been around since 1950.
I walked passed these Zachary Chocolates probably 3 times, trying to decide if I wanted the extra10 pounds or more this large 2.5 pound box would bless me with, if I were to eat the whole box this next week. But the retail price was $8.00 and for the sale price of $4.00 - I bought them. And my hubby was and is going to help me eat them. You'll notice a few pieces already missing from the box.
I know Zachary Chocolates aren't Swiss chocolates or some high end European brand of chocolate, but they really are good. Plus I love the assortment of chocolates you get, compared to other boxes that are about 1/8 of this for more money and offering candies I don't care for.
This box of Zachary Chocolates has:
Pecan Perks - similar to Turtle pecan/caramel candies.
Soft Center Flavors like - Chocolate Cream, Dark Chocolate Cherry, Milk Chocolate Vanilla, Dark Chocoate Pineapple, Milk Chocolate Lemon, and Milk Chocolate Coconut.
Caramel Nut Clusters
Plain Milk Chocolate
The flavors are very popular and to me, cuts to the chase and doesn't have me cutting the candies in half or having my husband try one before I know if I'll like it. Yes, I am picky about what's in my chocolate, so this lovely box of chocolates is a safe bet.
