The BRATZ jewelry box is a really unique, well-designed fun item for girls age 5 and up.
It measures 8" x 8" x 10" high, and is made of very sturdy white plasic with purple trim, designs, and writing.
The first thing that you notice about it is the creative locking system. It opens in the front like a school locker. You either use the nifty little remote control, or press the buttons on the front to spell "B-R-A-T-Z" to unlock it. Inside is an overhead light (3- "AAA" batteries required), a slot for a diary (not included), a shelf up top for storage, and a compartment on the bottom that has another door. This one is opened by simultaneously pushing 4 switches in 4 different directions in a puzzle-like manner. Fun!
Also, there is a button on top of this jewelry box that, when pressed, pops up the lid to reveal a secret, recessed compartment, and the lid has a mirror on the inside of it.
My 7-year old daughter really loves having this to keep her jewelry, spare change, and girly items in.
It sells for $14.99 at Target and is well worth it.
