I'm certainly no expert on hair products, so when I picked up a bottle of John Frieda's Smoothing Milk, I didn't know what to expect. I just wanted something that would tame my slightly frizzy/wavy hair. I was impressed with the list of ingredients, which include "silk protein, cocoa bean, and tea leaf infusion."
I was pleasantly surprised to find that while it didn't completely solve my hair issues, it really did make my hair noticably smoother and shinier. I found the best time to apply this product is right after I get out of the shower, when my hair's still damp. My favorite part about Runway Straight Smoothing Milk is how it makes my hair feel much stronger. I have pretty fine hair, and this seems to add strength and smoothness that my hair doesn't naturally have. Also, since it's formulated for brunettes, it really brings out the rich brown tones in your hair.
I'm back to blonde hair now though -- I hope they make this product for blondes!
