Last summer I purchased the Disney Princess Bubble Machine for my toddler. This toy has provided hours of fun for my daughter. The base of this toy is a replica castle featuring pictures of several Disney Princesses. The top of the castle is hinged and tilts back to allow bubble liquid to be poured into it. The bubble machine uses D batteries but one set seems to last a very long time.
The motor in the bubble castle turns a wheel with several bubble wands attached. As the wands turn they create a bubble storm. My toddler loves to chase the bubbles, especially on a day with a gentle breeze to blow them around.
The Disney Princess Bubble Machine is not really designed for toddlers or younger children. The pieces of the machine are not sturdy and could easily be broken. My daughter is constantly trying to stop the wand with her fingers and could easily break it off. Also, the castle has nothing to keep kids from opening the liquid area easily. A latch would help prevent accidental spills.
This bubble machine is lots of fun but it is necessary to closely supervise younger children. I suspect older children would quickly lose interest in it so the design is not necessary great but it does entertain the younger ones for a long time.
