I'm not a big workout person. I was only inspired to start trying to get in shape when I got engaged and realized I would really like to look a little better for my wedding.
I ordered the Buff Brides workout DVD along with three others, and I've been trying to do one a day, alternating the three. Buff brides was the first one I did. It's a 45 minute workout consisting of a warm up, cardio, upper body, and abs and hips. It includes a resistance band to use in some of the workouts, but you need to have your own dumbbells for other workouts which require them.
The first time I did this, I thought it was a really good workout. My heart was pumping and I felt firm and "excersised". I really like Mia, the instructor. I've read other reviews that said she was too annoyingly perky, but I kind of like it. I don't like excersise at all, so I need someone really cheerful to keep me motivated. The workout is easy to follow and fun to do--even for someone like me who is not exactly the queen of coordination.
The band that's included is nice, you can really feel it helping to add resistance to the workouts, but it gets bunched up around the legs and arms all the time and is kind of annoying.
Now that I have been doing this workout a while, it is starting to get to be really easy. It's almost kind of like a "break" every third day, because my other two DVDs are much harder. I'm still going to continue doing it, and it is nice to have an easier workout somtimes. But, if you are hoping to just use this DVD and lose significant weight, it probably won't happen. You need to incorporate something harder into your routine too.
