This is a great router for the price. Buffalo isn't exactly the household name in networking, but they make a great bang for the buck product. The security features are fairly standard for your wireless routers for the home. It's nothing too crazy professional or anything that would require a 500-page book to get going. I had it up and running in minutes, had the wireless password system setup so there weren't any neighborly leeching opportunities, and I was on my way.
The one thing that gets on my nerves a tad is the user interface for the configuration settings. It's a browser-based menu, and navigation at times is a bit annoying. Sometimes when you're trying to move to another menu, you end up closing another. Technically, you could get used to it, but it does feel unnatural navigating it at times. Really though, this is just me looking for something to complain about, as this doesn't impede the performance at all, and I can gladly live with having to spend an extra few minutes in the menu.
Overall, a great buy.
