But Where's The Lemon?

I love scented lotions, so when I was shopping in T.J. Maxx one day, and I saw a combination package of Country Kitchen Lemon and Clove Hand Lotion and Anti-Bacterial Liquid Soap, I decided to give it a try. I will be reviewing the lotion. The cost of the combination package was regularly $7.99, but was on sale for $6.00. What a deal! T.J. Maxx also sells the hand lotion and antibacterial liquid soap separately in a variety of fragrances. As you might expect, Asquith and Somerset is an English company, and I have found their products to be of the highest quality.

While I do like this fragrance fairly well, I have to admit that it was a little too heavy on the clove scent, and I was hoping for a stronger lemon fragrance. They should have named it Russian Tea, as that it what it reminds me of. It was packaged in a see-through yellow and white bag, with an emphasis on the lemon scent (both in the accompanying pictures, and the delightful cheery bag.) Since it was contained within a sealed bag, there was no opportunity to sample it, as I often do with other lotions that I am interested in purchasing. (Isn't that at least half the fun in T. J. Maxx?)

The lotion does moisturize nicely, and is not at all oily. I have put the liquid soap and the lotion on my kitchen sink for daily use. But I really don't like the scent enough to purchase this one again.

Asquith and Somerset has many wonderful fragrances, in liquid soaps, lotions, room sprays, and other products. You will not be disappointed in the quality.
