This duster has a 15" head, and paraffin wax is baked into the cotton strands of the head to pick up and remove dust, not just push it around on the car's surface. It has a wooden handle, it doesn't scratch paint and it keeps you from having to wash your car so often. The handle is long enough to easily reach all surfaces of my Mustang, and it's lightweight, too. My arms never get tired when I use it.
I've had this since 2005, and while mine has faded from being left in the backseat of my Mustang, it still does the job. To use this duster, you have to wait until your car's surface is dry, so that rules out early-morning use. It is used just like any other kind of duster: you move the soft head along the car's body to remove dust, dirt and pollen. It is mostly for when your car isn't too dirty to need a washing but you want to make it look as clean as possible.
It came with a plastic/vinyl case to put it in, and I easily fit it in my trunk or backseat: the entire duster and handle combined are less than three feet long so you can keep it in your car for whenever you might need to use it. This duster is a good way to keep your car looking shiny and clean between washings, and it's been great during the past two years when we've had such a bad drought in the southeastern US.
