When my boy got sick two months ago I am really kind of scared. He had high fever and he was screaming because of severe stomach pain. At times like these, all I do immediately to treat the fever is to give him Calpol which I usually store in the ref. I do have two kinds of Calpol: 2 to 6 years Strawberry flavor for my five year old boy and the orange flavor Calpol 6 plus suspension. I see to it that I always replenish our basic medicines for cold, flu and fever.I have been using Calpol for my kids since my first born and until now that they are grown ups. They are use to it, they like it and still effective. I don't find a hard time giving them Calpol because it comes like a tradition to us when they have fever. It comes in flavors kids do like. It really helps lessen the fever. After minutes of taking Calpol, the fever go down and my boy sweat. I give Calpol every four hours so even I have to wake him up to drink it he take it and go back to sleep. The severe stomach pain was cause by Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) after his urine lab test. Doctor just gave me a separate medicine for that and after 2 days he felt okay.
