The Sony Ericsson Cybershot K790i is a very good quality phone, I have found.

When I bought it, it was introduced to me as primarily a camera phone. That is to say that the 3.2 megapixel camera is on par with many standard use digital cameras, as well as being a walkman style Ericsson phone. I have a young baby and while I have a digital camera at home, carrying it with me in public can be awkward; at least compared to the convenience of a camera phone that is of the same quality of the digital camera. Also my camera takes batteries so I go through them like crazy, but I can charge my phone anywhere, from an outlet or via USB cord.

I was offered a promotion of a 2GB microSD memory card with my phone, which is extremely convenient. On it's own the phone can't hold that many pictures or songs, though if you don't take many pictures that might still work for you. But having the card is awesome because it comes with a converter that slips into my laptop or into a photo printing kiosk at any Walmart or similar. You just save whichever pictures you may want to print to the memory card, and then slip that into the machine and you're good to go.

I'm being a bit verbose here but my favourite aspects of this phone are; 1) the camera. I've had camera phones before, but it's awesome being able to take a good quality picture at the drop of the hat. As in, I certainly don't drag my camera everywhere but I *always* have the phone and thus always have it available for a photo op. Which sounds more narcistic than it is, I mostly take pictures of my daughter.

2) Walkman function, it's kind of cool. you can listen to the radio but I don't do that one as often. With the memory card you can actually fit quite a bit of music on there. Easily download it onto your computer so you don't have to pay the horrendous download fees, transfer it and you're good to go.

3) Multiple functions at once. This might not seem like the best thing but my other phone (LG Chocolate) didn't have this function. If i'm listening to music on a bluetooth headset and I receive a text message it won't halt the music until I deal with the text, like the other phone.
