My mother-in-law had a Christmas party to attend where she had to bring a gift pertaining to the holiday season. She picked up something so nice from Sam's Club that when she showed it to me, I had to pick one up for myself.
It's called Candy Cane Surprise, made by Xiamen Extreme Creation Co., Ltd., and it comes in a red box with a clear window showing the goodies inside. There are 20 hand decorated jelly candy ornaments on candy canes, artificially flavored. The flavors of the candy canes consist of pepperment, lemon, strawberry, watermelon, and raspberry. There are little jelly candies attached to each cane, some of them coming out of little red and green boxes, and some have little bells around their necks. We have snowmen, Santa, penguins, reindeer and teddy bears. These little surprises are so cute that I am debating whether to eat them or just use them for display purposes.
Each jelly candy consists of 45 calories, 0 grams of fat, 15 mg of sodium, and 8 grams of sugar. Each candy cane consists of 70 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 mg of sodium and 10 grams of sugar. The shelf life for these candies is 24 months. The only reason I gave flavor a 0 rating is because I still have them in the box and have not tasted them, but I'm sure they are delicious.
These candies would make a great gift for the holidays. I gave them to myself. : )
