I am writing this review about a book called Candyfloss written by an award winning author, Jacqueline Wilson.
She is a very famous children's author and they love her books very much.
The book Candyfloss is about a girl called Floss. Her parents have split up and her Dad is all alone in his Cafe. Floss' Mum, Stepfather Steve and Tiger go to Australia because Steve got a promotion to work there.
But Floss refuses to go, Her Dad is broke and she doesn't want to leave him.
Floss' best friend is Rhiannon. Margot is trying to take Rhiannon away and they both start to be very rude to Floss.
But luckily Floss finds a new best friend called Susan.
Here is the blurb of the book so you get a bit of a feel of the story:
Floss loves spending weekends with her dad in his greasy cafe, even if it isn't the smartest place in town. When Floss' mum and her new husband Steve move to Australia, Floss decides to stay at home with Dad. He's not much good at ironing or putting up swings, but they muddle along on a diet of chip butties and candyfloss from the local fair. But then disaster strikes and they find themselves homeless. Will their fairground friends help out? Could Dad and Floss be destined for a life on the road?
This is absolutely a wonderful book and I recommend you go out and buy it! I promise you, you will not regret it.
