This is a wonderful version of the classic game I had as a child. The game board has been redone, and is wonderfully colorful and bright.

One of the reasons I love this game is that there is no reading required, so it is easy for young kids to play. Each player takes a card on their turn and moves to the next matching color on the board. It is wonderful for color recognition, and you can also introduce some counting skills, since some cards have more that one block on them, and you move spaces on the board.

The game moves fairly quickly also, which is a bonus too in my opinion; it stays in line with toddlers short attention spans. There are a few cards which direct the player who draws them to a specific spot on the boards, meaning that you could get sent back to the beginning even if you are at the end of the game. If we are trying to have a shortened version of the game, we simply remove those cards from the deck, and it moves much faster.

Kids will love this game, and parents will love the fact that their kids are learning a little at the same time!
